How would you describe your interior design style?
"My interior design style is classic, warm, and timeless. I’m drawn to traditional elements like wood furniture, soft neutral palettes, layered textures, and curated florals that create a space that feels both elegant and lived-in. I want my home to feel calm, beautiful, and comfortable, a place that invites people to slow down and feel at ease."
What are your favorite flowers to use in floral arrangements?
"Rose lilies, peonies, roses, and hydrangeas!"
What is something small that brings you joy right now?
"Watering all our plants every morning! We’ve been focusing on the landscaping of our home this spring, and it brings me so much joy to check in on everything as it grows. Spring is my favorite season, and there are so many small joys it brings, this ritual is definitely one of them."
What is your go-to meal?
"I could eat chicken Caesar salad everyday. But only with Ina Garten homemade dressing, sourdough croutons, cold romaine, and freshly shaved parm!"
What is your idea of a perfect evening?
"A warm Lake Michigan beach day with my husband and puppy, paddle boarding, and getting hotdogs and ice cream after!"
Who inspires you?
"My grandma has always reminded me to find beauty in the everyday. That mindset has shaped how I live, the spaces I create, the way I host, and how I find joy in simple routines. We share our love of hosting, gardening, and antiquing, and I’m always learning from her."
Do you have any hosting tips?
"My go to hosting tip is to prepare as much as you can in advance so that you can be fully present with your guests. I try to make people feel welcome by noticing and anticipating the little things—like taking their coat, lighting a candle, or having their favorite snack out."
What are your favorite Willamere pieces?
"Can I say all of them? I truly love every piece, but I reach for the cocktail napkins every day with my morning coffee. They add such a lovely glimmer to the start of my day. I also adore my Odette napkins and placemats. The design is timeless and elegant, and they’ve fit in beautifully with all my tablescapes."
