A Summer Table, Inspired by Charleston
There’s a certain ease to summer in Charleston—the kind that doesn’t need much to feel special. Long lunches, slow evenings, and tables that come together without overthinking.
That’s the feeling behind the Garden Vine collection.
The print was hand-drawn in my Charleston studio, inspired by antique Delft pottery and the quiet beauty of blue and white palettes that have stood the test of time. It’s classic, but never formal. Fresh, but still grounded in tradition.
Setting the Table for Summer
When I think about summer hosting—whether it’s Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or just a weekend meal with family—it always starts with the table.
Not in a complicated way.
A blue and white cotton tablecloth in a charming floral print inspired by delft pottery that brightens the space layered with reusable round cotton placemats, paired with matching dinner napkins with a subtle hemstitch detail.
Garden Vine was designed for exactly that. A table that feels pulled together, but never forced. Blue and white has always had a place in Southern homes and can never get old. It reflects light, feels clean in the summer heat, and pairs effortlessly with everything—fresh flowers, simple meals, or even takeout on a busy day.
It’s not about setting a perfect table. It’s about creating a welcoming space your guests enjoy.
The Kitchen, Where It All Begins
Before anyone gathers at the table, everything starts in the kitchen. My Garden Vine collection extends to the thoughtful kitchen essentials, apron with pockets and ruffle hem, quilted long oven mitts for baking and cooking and the quilted pot holders that come handy while handling hot dishes or serving food on the table. That’s where these pieces live just as much and are designed for the art of hosting and the comfort of the everyday.
Whether you’re baking something simple, trying sourdough, or preparing a meal for guests, the kitchen becomes a space of rhythm. And the pieces you use every day should feel just as considered as the table you set.
Made to Be Used, Made to Last
Every piece in the Garden Vine collection is crafted from 100% cotton and made in India, where textile traditions and craftsmanship run deep.
There’s an heirloom quality to it—not in a delicate way, but in a lasting one. These are pieces meant to be washed, used, and lived with. Over time, they soften, settle, and become part of your home. Not something you bring out once or twice a year. Something that stays.
A Way of Living
At its core, Southern living isn't about decoration—it’s about how a space feels. It’s welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtful. Similarly, coastal style isn't just a "look"; it’s a mindset that is slower, lighter, and more intentional.
Garden Vine in delft blue sits right in that space.
A collection designed for summer, but not limited to it.
For hosting, but just as much for everyday meals.
For moments that matter—and the many that quietly pass by.
Because in the end, those are the ones we remember.
